A farm? Well, no, not really. We have only about 2.5 acres, just north of Parkville, Missouri (near Kansas City). Farmers we are not.  My husband, Barna, works construction, & I'm an artist, showing at the Northland Exposure Artist's Gallery in Parkville. But we do our best to get as much out of our land as possible!

On The Szasz Farm

We raise chickens for meat & eggs. Flemish Giant Rabbits for meat. Bees for honey & wax. Barna is an avid bow hunter, supplying our family with venison. We keep a couple vegetable gardens, as well as fruit & nut trees. And watching over it all is our Great Pyrenees, Makwa.

We always thought we were doing all of this because we were cheap & hate spending so much cash  at the grocery store, but, as it turns out, our lifestyle is very "in" right now! Who knew?!

So I thought I'd add a page to give a glimpse into life on the "little farm".

Hope you all enjoy it!
